Many Happy Returns Mother Nature: Restore Our Earth

I am sure you know that today, the 22nd of 2021, is Earth Day

Many Happy Returns, Mother's Earth!
You should be celebrated and cared for every day, not just today, or randomly.
Without you, there would be no us.

Yet, what do we do to honour and save you, dearest Mother Earth?

The theme for Earth Day 2021 is Restore Our Earth.
To learn more go to:

There are days in which I am absolutely terrified when I reflect on how much harm we do to our planet without even taking notice.

We point fingers and blame the big corporations or companies...
But aren't we all to blame when we waste food and water, when we cut trees without planting any, when we don't recycle, when we drive everywhere... short distances even?
Look around and inside you and ask yourself if you do everything you can to preserve this planet for future generations.

We must start taking accountability for the destruction we cause by our consumption.

I often wonder where all the refuse we generate goes.

What do you do with it?

Do we dispose properly of it?

How?!

We can’t send it into space, can we?

We send it to poor countries, right?

Couldn’t we burn it all?

No, because it creates a lot of smog.

Do we bury the garbage we produce or we bury ourselves in it?

Believe it or not, there are days when I fell ill at the thought that most of us contribute to the ruin of our planet willingly.

We don't want to admit that our long-lasting environmental destruction deeply affects future generations.
Will they know how to deal with it all?
Will they be able to breathe fresh air?
Will they know how organic food and clear water taste like?

I am simply terrified. And you should be too.
But don't sit with your arms crossed.
Don't wait for the end to come.
Don't bury the guilt, but raise awareness and take positive action.

Do your bit to restore our earth.
Stop wasting, start recycling, enjoy walking, plant trees, seed flowers, don't kill but preserve flora and fauna.
